Justin Trudeau is continuing to push his anti-firearms ideology onto rural Canadians. The Liberal’s Bill C-21 will turn thousands of law-abiding firearms owners into criminals overnight. This Bill creates a so-called gun “buy-back” — costing taxpayers billions of dollars, just like the failed Liberal long-gun registry.
Meanwhile, Justin Trudeau is giving criminals a “Get Out of Jail Free” card. Bill C-22 will lower or eliminate jail penalties for committing a robbery with a firearm or smuggling illegal guns across the border.
You and I both know that cracking down on law-abiding hunters will not reduce gun violence. While the Liberals focus on advancing their ideological agenda, I will advocate for policies that respect law-abiding Canadians, New Brunswick hunters and keep criminals off our streets.
